Dick's wife, Joyce will be painting a Murial

We have so many talented folks on the Forum, Joyce is a painter, and will be doing a painting job in Alberquerque.
I thought of her when we saw this painting in downtown Gallup New Mexico.
Well, my slow Internet connection timed out..twice.
I will post it later.
I think we will dump Sprint Hot spot soon... they can pound sand trying to get the early opt out fee from me. Why should you pay them for service you don't get... Grumble grumble..

Ozz,
I had the same problem with T-Mobile. On their internet coverage charts they showed that T-Mobile had "partnered" coverage while we were in Utah and other places. Verizon and AT&T also had the same coverage. The difference was that the Verizon and AT&T could make and receive calls, not so with T-Mobile.

I called T-Mobile wanting out of my contract because my phone was a worthless brick without coverage.

Their reply was that they "do not guarantee coverage anywhere".

Good luck with Spriny, let me know how it turns out for ya.

BTW, we just competed our 2-year contract with T-Mobile, and are looking forward to going back to Verizon!

Yeah did the T-Mobile MiFi device too because they have a pay as you go one. Yeah you pay then go and no Internet. While in Pa. got frustrated and went into see Verizon who I already had service with and had the old plan with unlimited data. I thought I did not want to give up my unlimited data even though I only use 2 gigs normally and maybe 4 when on the road. They showed me the new plans and got the MiFi device for free and bill only went up cause the wife upgraded to a smart phone too. But it only went up $25 for both... Guess it's kinda like paying for the buffet when you really only want a Hamburger and fries. Now I got internet going down the road and all the places I could not get with T-Mobile. And it's fairly quick, don't see a whole lotta difference between it and the cable service at the S&B.
Oh and you can go on line and change your data plan when you want and you can suspend the monthly charge for the device for up to 2 months to help save.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. A few years ago I discovered I'm not the man I never was

True that! That is a cool mural. You'll be even faster yourself when you get Verizon

Before you make a move on changing the internet service check out Mellinicom. They have a couple different plans but the one I have uses the verizon towers and they give you 20 Gig of data for $59.95 a month without a contract. I have been very happy with them and I dumped Verizon at a cost of $175.00 opt out and recovered that in about 8 months. The contract I had with Verizon was for 2 yrs. and was only into it a couple months. So it was worth it. Not to count the fact that I had 10 gig of data fro $79.95 thru Verizon.

Be aware though, one of there plans which I believe they call the unlimited plan runs on the Sprint towers. IMHO I don't see sprint being a good alternative for those of us that are on the move.

Thanks Dave, appreciate it. I think one of the issues will be which service we can get a signal on in our winter home over in Tonopah Az. I will look into Mellincom.

Mellinicom works fine in Tonapah. We used it last year when we were there. We went to Verizon because when we're in 4g we can get 4g with Verizon and also because I came to suspect that Verizon would dump the Mellinicom users first when their towers got full. Not a problem in Tonopah, but was a problem at our home base out in the boonies. We also had two unlimited data contracts Verizon wanted to get rid of so we negotiated a good deal.
