Which key, deadbolt or regular lock? The regular lock has a number on it and Keystone uses like 3 different locks. The dealer can get you a key based on that lock number. The deadbolt is unique to your 5'er and I would assume you would have to have a locksmith cut you a key. Jim
P.S. I may have the locks reversed but I know one is common and one is unique.

You might contact Keystone Customer Service, I got them to send me 2 key blanks for our 2010 and had the local hardware cut them. Now this will only work in you still have as least one of the original keys.

We went to Camping World and ask them where they got keys made when they needed them. They directed us to a locksmith that carried the blanks and we had more made there.

I got extra keys made at a locksmith. I have 3 full sets in my truck and another set in the wife's Expedition.

Charlie and Bill are correct that most locksmiths will have the blanks but the blanks don't have the black rubber/plastic/whatever around the top of the key; that is why we bought extras from FIC.

...The deadbolt is unique to your 5'er .....
I used to believe that until Robbie's key opened the deadbolt on my 2055 2955RL and then Don & Claudia's key opened the deadbolt on my 2012.

This is not the case on our 2008 3400RL (previous) or our 2012 3585SA (present). On them, one key operated both the door handle lock and the deadbolt lock. On the 2012 we got another black plastic-headed key that looks like door key, but it is for the slam latches on storage compartment doors.

Dave, I probably didn't say what I meant too well. It is just one key that fits both locks. A key with the matching lock number will open your regular lock. They cut a couple of extra notches in same key, add tumblers to the dead bolt making it unique to your unit. So the same key opens both locks. Based on what Carl says I guess the deadbolt is not as unique as I was told it was. I do know it is different because I locked the deadbolt when leaving it for service at the dealer and had to go back and unlock it for them. Sorry for the confusion! Jim

No problem, Jim, as I'm easily confused and hard of hearing to boot!

Both Montana’s we’ve had used the same key for both locks; including one replacement lock.

Depends on the locksmith I guess. The keys I got at the locksmith were the exact same FIC keys with the black rubber around them. The only difference is the new keys do not have the key number stamped into them.

If your locks are made by FIC (Fastec Industrial), there is approximately 50 different entry door key codes. So depending upon which key codes Keystone buys from FIC, it’s a sure bet that someone else’s key will fit your entry door.

Just look on the metal shaft of the key for the code.
The codes for FIC keys come in three ranges:
CF301 - CF351
EF301 - EF351
HF301 - HF351

Fastec has changed their numbering method and only the 3 digits are what is needed to order the right key. In order to choose the proper key, just match the 3 digits and do not be concerned with the letters as the HF code now replaces the CF and EF codes.

On our 2002 Montana, the same key is used for both locks on the entry door.

You can easily buy more precut keys online from FIC currently at $3.50 each, or some RV suppliers have the ability to cut you keys.

All you need is that key code on your key. Their website page for keys is:

CW in St. Augustine FL had mine in stock. All I needed was the number and the gal got them off a shelf in the back.
