What a Deal!

I have been using DeLorme Street Atlas for 8 years and buy upgrades every few years. The 2015 is $39.99. I will get it soon. I also have Ford F250 King Ranch with a navigation system. I checked on upgrades to the mapping software--$149! Is there something wrong here??? We don't used the F250 software for much except to see where we may be at a time when we are not towing the Monty.

I've never upgraded the on board GPS in any of our vehicles. Too much money for too little benefit, when you can buy one you like and get lifetime maps.

I have a Ford F250 Platinum and found the Navigation update (A5) for $49.99 on eBay. Have received the SD card already and it works fine. Haven't been on the road yet so can't say how many changes were made.

My Ram is a year old. They wanted $149 for a update CD. Nope. My Garmin is 5 years old and works just fine and I have lifetime maps on it. Never up-dated it. The DW used my old 5" Nuvi and liked it, so got a excuse to buy a new one...

I am considering the new 7" Garmin RV version for $299.

Tim, if you decide to order the 2015 Street Atlas, here's a little tidbit I got from them: Registered users can purchase Street Atlas 2015 at a discounted price of $32.95 using the promo code of RegUser_10148 at checkout.
I've been using them for years and love the ability to adjust the route to suit my plans. I have a friend who follows his GPS blindly and it has gotten him into some tight spots that required him to unhook their Toad to get out.

jlb27537: I have the new 7" Garmin RV GPS and Love It!! Bought it just before our recent trip and gave it a 5700 mile test drive. Worked great the whole trip and the 7" screen is very easy to read.

I also use DeLorme and have a 2013 Ford Explorer. I hate there navigation system and have been using my google maps or Garmin.

Anyone using the Garmin BC-20 wireless camera with the Garmin RV 760?
