Slides stuck out
I can't get my slides to move in. I have power to the motor, when I hit the wall switch or remote. The motor has a whirring sound when I hit the in button, out button sounds like it's trying to engage.
The hydrolic fluid is 3/4 to an inch from the bottom of the tank with the slides out. Didn't notice how full it was when the slides were in.
Any suggestions out there. I'm in Chinook WA, on the Columbia River.

Fluid sounds low to me. Add some to about 1/2 full and see what happens.

Your hydraulic fluid level sounds as if it's far too low but this may not be the cause of your trouble.

You will need to add fluid, up to 1/2 the reservoir, but you will also need to check for a hydraulic leak because you must surely have one.

Thanx All........that's exactly what it was, low ATF in the tank. Put in a QRT of ATF & it works fine. Thanx again. Joe

Thanx Didk, but I think we're OK as that was the level it was at when we picked it up from the dealer. I questioned what the level was suppose to be & they said "Oh it's fine". Ya right, a $4 dollar quart of ATF was more than they could afford on a $55K 5th wheel they just sold.

Could have been that they were just too lazy, There's a lot of that going around lately!

Still that sounds like someone I don't want to go to in an emergency for repairs.
