Bad Propane Valve

Upon doing some routine maintenance preparing for our next trip, I was checking the propane system and related dependent systems. After separately checking the stove, frig and furnace, I noticed the dual valve displaying a red window with the lp cylinders open. I know for a fact the cylinders are full and the valve should be displaying a green window. I went thru all the recommended checks for leaks, turned off the cylinders, emptied the lines, all the procedures to install full tanks, etc and nothing worked, still showed red. The valve would display a green window when cylinders were disconnected and lines emptied, sometimes green and red, and red when connected and lines full. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and installed the new one (perfect match) in 30 minutes, no leaks and all systems work.

Been there...done that as the saying goes. Also, that small 30 psi regulator in the other propane locker could be about to fail. When I put leak check fluid on the crimped rim of mine, it showed multiple leaks.
