We are planning to spend time in Moab this summer with our grandson and are interested in campground recommendations with full hookups!

We just left OK RV Park in Moab. It is Passport America and we liked the park. Easy to get anyplace from there. When you are there, try the Moab Diner, a 50s diner with good food and 50s music.

We stayed at the O.K. RV Park several years ago when we were there. Nothing special but a good base to explore.

We belong to the Elks so we stayed in the Elks parking lot. Just left there on Friday. The Arches National Park is awesome. For good Mexican food, try La Hacienda Restaurant on the left about a couple blocks from Denny's (which will be on your right). Denny's service and food was very bad.

We are heading to Moab mid June and will be staying at the Archview Resort. It is located north of Moab but it is very close to some of the parks. archviewresort.com My neighbor camped there during jeep safari and said it was very nice. Have a great trip!

I guess Denny's will never learn! We stopped there for breakfast a few years ago and wound up walking out after being ignored for about a half hour.

Last fall we were at Archview that is north of town but close to Arches and near the road to Canyonlands. We've also stayed at the Riverside Oasis and at a park in the middle of town. All three were very nice. The Riverside Oasis and the one in the town have more shade than Archview though.

Enjoy Moab!

We were at Portal RV Park for a month a few years ago and liked it. Absolutely agree on Moab Diner.

Dave, We stayed at OK Corral and would recommend it. There is no pool that I recall so your grandson won't have a place to swim. We spent two weeks there and the DW wondered what we would do for two weeks. Needless to say we could have spent another two weeks. Arches NP is great. Spent three days exploring it. Don't pass up the opportunity to go to Four Corners so your grandson can say he stood in four states and two nations at the same time. Have a great time.

We stayed at Archview in 2006 and it was dusty and hot. Jim and Julie I think Delaine and I had are picture taken at about the same spot as your standing. The arches are great. Could be wrong?? GBY...

Ron--we won't be at Moab until July--have to wait for the grandson to finish school. Look forward to hearing about your experience there.

Just remember that the temperatures will be in the 100s when you are there in July. Let us know what you would like to do there and we can give you some ideas as we spent 2 months in the area this year.
