Charming Galveston, Tx Area Park

I posted this elsewhere so this may be cheating but this one may be just what you're
looking for.

If your plans take your near Galveston and you are looking for kind of a neat little RV Park on the water. Check out the San Luis County Park which is just across the San Luis Pass Bridge ($2 Please) from the south tip of Galveston Island. Hard to spot but it's there. Almost no signage. Charming. On it's own Island. Gets windy there at times!! Keep your awning furled when you are more than 100' from your rig! Or in the words of one of our RV neighbors there, "I never take a nap with the awning up."

And it's not too far back to Galveston and some good food and sightseeing.
