I've used the Montana's ladder to climb to the roof many times without a problem. I weight 195. We also used to carry two adult mountain bikes on that ladder, for about 20k miles. Never a problem with it. The mounts are very strong. Bikes met pavement (long story I've told here before). Proved to me how strong that ladder and its mounts are.

Steve,
I'm about 200, depending on cheeseburgers and beers recently consumed, and my ladder supports me, but I wouldn't want to stand on it for long and work, just enough to get my large butt up to and off of the roof!

Helen will never see these post on the sturdy roof ladder on the Montana. I told her they were flimsy and she would have to do the roof work.Don't want to see any of you guys on that ladder when we are in sight

My desire in a ladder was not in the ability just to get on top of my rig, as the rear ladder works just fine for that. I wanted a ladder that would let me wax the sides and reach the top, clean the windows, check the slide tops and rain gutters without having to get on top of the rig and to do all this with convenience.

richfaa, Perhaps you can hire Helen out for "roof work" to those folks whose spice (plural of spouse like mouse/mice, louse/lice, etc,) are too heavy for the flimsy ladder !!

Larry, my wife would not like to see those comparable examples... I'd have to come up with a different "similarity".
