3721RL owners

I toured a 2016 3721RL last week. With the bedroom slide in you could not access the bathroom. The bathroom door was hinged on the right (standing in the hall looking at the door) and, when opened, blocked what little space there was. BUT. The current Montana brochure shows that bathroom door hinged on the left. If the door were hinged on the left it appears a (medium sized) person could slip thru to the bathroom with the slide in.

Did they change the door to allow access to the bathroom? Anyone have one with the door hinged on the left? This one did have the swivel door.

Love that floor plan. The Montana web site shows a pivotal hinge door.

I have 3720 with pivotal door you have to put the slide out half way to access the bathroom space is too small.

Does your bathroom door pivot to the left or right, as viewed from the hall?

Thanks. That is the same as the one I looked at. But the current Montana brochure and web site shows the door hinged on the opposite side, possibly allowing someone to actually be able to get into the bathroom without opening the slide. Just wondering if Keystone made that door change after realizing you could not access the bathroom.

You might check with the dealer and have them reverse the door. When we bought our HC 305 the door opened in the hallway. Very unsafe for us. They changed it to open instead of out. They charged us $100.00 to do it. May be worth asking.

I was wondering the same thing. Can the door be changed to pivot in the opposite direction? That would be great.

Our 2014 hinges on the left. We can squeeze by to the bathroom without putting the slide out

Good to hear. I suspected that when I saw the floor plan on the web site.

Odd though that yours is a 2014 hinged on the left. The one I looked at was a 2016 hinged on the right. But the current web site (and brochure) shows hinged on left. ???

We have a 2016 3720 and it is hinged on the left side if in the hall facing it. I can squeeze through with side in but if I was any bigger probably not. I'm 185# and 5'7".
