Maiden Voyage
After trading in our Sunnybrook we finally got a three day weekend to try out the new 3665re. Everything went smooth except for a few minor problems. Couldn't get the satellite to work through the outside jack. But the catv cable would work. I couldn't get the electric hot water heater to work but upon coming home and looking it up on the net I figured out that there is another switch outside. The last problem was when I tried to flush out the black water tank water leaked inside the outside storage compartment. It looked like it might be coming from where the line connects to the tank. All in all we were happy with it's performance and can't wait to get on the road again.

First of all let me Welcome you to the MOC.Well Glad you got to take time for a trip, you will get the kinks out . and as for the flushing out of the black tank it must be a leak at the hose connetion to flush it out mine did the same i had to tighen it up.as for the outside jack for the cable mine also only works with cable untill inside i had to disconnect the loop cable wire and connect my satellite receiver there for it to work.and great to have you on the site. Glad you are taking things so well and had a great time on your first voyage out. I believe you will really like what you have and you will get the bugs worked out of it before you know it. There has also been a lot of discussion about satellite connections on here; perhaps a search will lead you to information you may need concerning that. OBTW, welcome to the forum! This is a great place for great information.

Glad you enjoyed your maiden voyage. They will only get better! Also, welcome to the MOC Forum. This is a good spot to learn and meet great people. You might think of attending one of our rallys on one of your journeys. Then you will personally meet some of the great people from this forum.

Just a question! When you were flushing the black water tank did it leak immediately upon beginning the flush, or after the black tank was full?

It was immediate. It didn't have time to fill up.

Welcome to the forum. I think you will like the 3665 floor plan. We have the 365 Big Sky which is the same unit. You will find a switch with a cotter pin in it in the hot water cabinet outside. It's a black toggle switch. The satellite is probably just a matter of getting the cabling set right. I would ask my dealer to label it for me. Good luck.
