Got a Question (water pump)

I've got my second water pump in in 6 months a Smart Censor 5.7 extreme shur flo.
It has gotten to the point that when you turn it on the pressure is good and then it slows to a trickle before the pump kicks on and then pressures up, pump shuts off and it slows down to a trickle and then cycles on agsin. Well this weekend it would start ok (full pressure) and then slow down to no water at all and the pump wouldn't kick on. Open and close the faucet a few times and then the pump would kick on pressure up, quit, pressure down till no water again.
Is there an adjustment screw on the pump for setting the pressure??
These pumps were made last year.
This is the 3rd pump in the last 2 years.

there should be an adjusting screw on there. It sounds like the pressure setting is to low causing the slow cycling. Also,I would look for a blockage on an inlet screen, either at the hose connection or just before the pump.

There's an adjustment screw (Phillips head) right in the center of the pump head that you can adjust. Adjust it while someone else opens a tap so that you can set it the way you want it. SHURflo had a problem with one of their vendors (the one who manufactures the pump controller) so if you can't get it adjusted right, call them. I don't remember their phone number but it's on the instruction sheet that came with your pump.

Sure Flo is a great co to deal with. Call them and have the serial number ready if you have it and also the manufacture date. Mine was short of one month before the warranty expired and they replaced the pump. They work great but this one is my forth one. They told me to turn the screw only 1/2 turn and if that did not fix it the pump was bad. Good luck and keep us informed. The dealer that you bought it from can replace it for you.
