New Mountaineer Owner: Where's the light switch???
We we just picked up our brand new 2009 347THT and had our shakedown trip. But I cannot find the light switch for the drivers side exterior lights? Ya know the lights on the side of the shore power and dumping port.
Anyone have a clue where the light switch is for these?

Don’t really know on your particular one but we have a switch near the inside door going into the bath room that turns on the flood lights outside. Our other lights underneath are located on each light. Hope that may be of some help.

On our 289RL there is only one switch and it turns on both sides. I can't turn on only one side.

I think you are referring to the "Scare lights". They are sometimes labeled Flood light on the switch panel. My flood light switch is located right next to the front door yellow light. If you know where the switch to turn on the yellow light for your entry door is, then maybe the switch is right next to it.
Some rigs have individual switches for either side's flood (scare) light. That would be better, but on the Montanas many of them are wired with a single switch turning both on/off.
Have you checked the manual - I know, it's a last resort, but every so often they are accurate?
If you find a switch and can't figure out what it is for, then you might have a bad bulb. I have heard many others complain of a broken bulb even with a new rig. But first you have to find a switch, eh?
Good luck finding it.

Switch is by the door on our Mountaineer. As others stated, it operates both lights. However, our curb side failed to come on once. I took the cover off, and found the bulb loose.

We have two switches on ours. They are located on the concenece panel by the door to the bath. They are marked ODS and DS Flood.

Spoke to Keystone... they arent sure either. But they THINK that the scare lights should be all on 1 switch. So I am going to take apart the light on the driver's side and see if their is something wrong with the bulb....
