Interesting Rv'ing.. Camping.. Being minimalist..?

Traveling is very interesting, you see all sorts of stuff you haven't seen before.
Just about the time you think you have seen it all, up jumps the Surprise.
So.. How much room do you think it takes to hit the road and overnight, or camp for a while in relative comfort? Say a man, woman and a small dog, plus a big dog?
Well.. Heck, I will just show you what my neighbor does.
We have been dodging ice storms, came from Amarillo to Roswell, we are in the new part of Town and Country RV park; really nice. Hardly anyone here.

Many similar rigs for pulling behind large motorcycles. Been there, done that and won't be doing it again.

That is a little too minimal for me. Some times, a 35 foot fifth wheel gets too small for both of us. Guess who goes outside??

HINT: It ain't her.

After Roswell, you can take 70 to 380 to 54. The old town of Lincoln, Ft, Stanton, Valley of Fires and Three Rivers Petroglyphs are on that route. Going straight on 70, there will be an old rock church at Mescalero. It is a good photo op in the afternoon.

Don't miss White Sands National Monument. Late afternoon shadows make great photos.

White Sands has a museum too. Interesting fact - they brought in these African goat/antelope like things years ago for some reason and they still thrive in the wild, I believe. I forget their species and too lazy to look it up.

Looks like the "minimal" is heading to "maximum". Lots of things on the trailer--big boy toys mostly. Reminds me of a fellow RVer who towed his motorcycle around for 2 years--about 8000 miles--on a trailer behind his 5th wheel. Rode it once. Conclusion--next time I saw him--Trailer and Motorcycle were GONE. Everyone soon realizes that they want to do and what they are doing don't match--make changes and move on.

Looks like way too much setup and tear down to me.I like pushing buttons to make things happen on the RV.
