I am looking at something more like a hose bib, like on your house. Something I can walk up to, to fill a pot of water without hooking up a hose etc.

Had the same problem with my 2018 3120RL. Went to the auto parts store and bought some clear plastic strips meant to be used on car door edges to protect from hitting parked cars when getting out of your car. I was able to cut these to fit the edge of the side panel. Still a pain to use the handle (poor design) but at least now I don't cut myself every time I dump the tank.

I also have a 3120 and didn't like the valve. Solved the problem for about $8.00. Bought a small 4"x4" black service door and installed it in the shirt next to slide. Very easy to open and reach the valve. Took less than an hour to do.
