2019 3931fb Disc brake issue

Hey everyone, so we were on our way home from a trip today with our 2019 3931fb and about 20 miles from home I went to stop at a stoplight and blew right through it... once I got stopped (thanks to my exhaust brake and transmission) I discovered that one of the brake calibers had broken off and was floating around in the rim and that it had sheared off the brake line, rendering all of the brakes inoperable. I limped home but now am wondering how I am going to get this fixed. I live near Key West and the closest dealer is around 250 miles away, a distance I’m not comfortable driving without brakes. I’m going to look into mobile RV mechanics down here but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue? This was scary to say the least. The trailer is only about 10 months old so I’m hoping this is covered under warranty.

Call Keystone customer service. I seem to remember a recall on the disc brakes over attaching bolts.

You can probably cap the hose or distribution block feeding the broken caliper and then bleed the other three enough to limp to the dealer.

Thank you, I didn’t even think to look at that. I just looked on the Keystone website and mine was recalled for this issue... I never received the recall notice but recall date was December 2018 which was just a few weeks after I took delivery of mine, must have gotten missed due to timing.

We had a safty issue with our first Montana and Keystone ok'd our using a local repair person (no Montana dealer around). We paid the bill and Keystone reimbursed us. Based on how soon we got the check they must have turned it around the day they got the bill.
