Trojan T105 Bar Caps

Putting in two T105 batteries and web shopping shows lowest price is $148 each with free shipping. However, the water caps are not the bayonet type, but one bar for all three cells. Is there a significant disadvantage to using the bar cap verses the individual screw on caps?

I've found them to be an advantage. Much easier to check water levels.

Caps is Caps, shouldn't make any difference. That is a good price with shipping. What about core charge?

I paid 97.50 + 20.00 core each when I bought six of them at local Golf Cart shop, but that was almost 5 years ago.

Thanks davidaf and 7.3Ford, that's what I needed to know. There is a core charge I think $25 each. Have seen ads for screw in caps at $35 per set for flip-tops (ease of water checking) that claim they help extend batter life. Garry

Here is my local Golf Cart Shop (doesn't do shipping), price is now $104.95 + 27.00 core charge if you haven't got one to trade in.

You might want to check your local Golf Cart dealer for their price.

My two new 105's came with bar caps also, makes it easier to check the water level as far as I'm concerned.

Buy these batteries at local golf cart shops only, no shipping and good prices. My local dealer buys half a million dollars worth of these babies a year!!! He charged me $120 a piece and 25 core charge.
