Where to put printer
We are new owners of a 3155RL, and will soon be full timers. Looking for a good location to put our printer. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I agree on wireless. We store ours in one of the cabinets and then when we get in place put it on a counter out of the way.

Yep same as everybody else we just stuff it in one of the MANY cabinets in the rig, mine is not wireless but no big deal when we need it just takes a few seconds it hook it up,that is one thing I miss from our old 3402RL it had a office desk with a printer shelf under it ...COOL

Like others say... try wireless then you only need to worry about a power connection, otherwise you'll need a data wire connection as well and other resources to get it working. Of course, the wireless assumes you've got wireless networking in the rig to support it.
If you don't have wireless networking, I'd recommend a USB connection to the computer for easiest operation. I don't know if the printers come with the USB cable any more but it's something you'll need to check (note: if required, the "device" style of USB cable is a specific type. Unless you have them lying around, you'll need to add this to the list)

We use wireless and have two. Inkjet goes in entertainment center. Laser printer goes in Basement.

I think there is a difference between "wireless" and Bluetooth printers. We upgraded ours a few months ago to Bluetooth wireless which enables us to print directly from I-phones and I-pads also.

Thanks everyone...yes, we're wireless and I'm probably getting a little hyper about where to put all office stuff that needs to accompany us!

Bought a $50 Cannon a few years back just for our old TT and now the Monty. Put some Velcro strips under it and on the non-desk end of the rear TV/fireplace/etc. shelf. It's been sitting there ever since & working well via a cable to the desk side run in back of the pop-up TV.

Mine travels in a computer padded case in the closet mid bedroom, when I need I get it out, plug in, run USB cord, print, put away. I have only printed 20 sheets so far this year. Mostly I don't print, paperless is so wonderful.

After using a USB connection for several years and taking up room at the foot of the dining room table, we found wireless works really great for us. We now keep the printer, a HP Officejet 4630, in the bedroom closet. Nice thing is we can print from the IPAD, Iphone, or laptop. We can also use the parks wifi, the Iphone's hotspot, or the printer has its own hotspot. It also prints duplex. Much better than the old USB cable tied to the computer.
