What's best to block holes in floor
Finally started going through all the nooks & crannies and have found four unfilled holes for PEX & other lines, and one filled with steel wool. I've used that in the past, but remember reading a post about little critters going right through it somewhere out west. Since we're going out to Arizona late this year, I'd like to fill the gaps with something that will work. Anything better that steel wool itself? How about Brillo Pads - maybe they won't like the soap?

A couple of things about steel wool and probably brillo pads also. Steel wool burns and is frequently used as a fire starter.

I just went thru our unit and I used white aluminum flashing to seal the areas that were to big for the foam. I went along the outside edges of the frame and bottom and put more lags in. After all was done I took the foam spray and filled as much of the cracks as I could. I also used black silicone to seal some of the cracks and around the spring brackets. The only area that I can't get sealed good is the areas around the level up. I took some small glad bowls and punched some holes in it. Put string on them and am going to hang them in the area with mothballs. There are a lot of areas to fix around the front storage and gas bottle storage areas. Black gorilla tape works on some of these areas. Just remember a mouse can squeeze in a 1/4 inch hole.
