John & Ann, so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son. Viv and I lost our daughter 5 years ago Christmas Day. Time truly does ease the pain. Many times we can speak of our daughter Amy, and laugh and reminisce, then at times reading a book or watching the tube, something happens and tears flow. So there’re always close, but as the days march by into months and then years, the sharp edge of that pain is dulled, and life dose bring joy and meaning.
