No parts for from Keystone???

There is a poster over on RV net open roads forum , who's name shall go unmentioned but is well known here, who is saying that there are NO parts available for a 2003 Montana and "almost " no parts available for the 2004 Montana..so he says, says Keystone..and why would anybody, says he, buy a camper who can not support it after 3 years. Anybody has a problem in getting parts for their 2003 Montana?????

Hi Rich - Sounds like that guy (who ever) has had a bad day and just wanted to bad mouth something.
all the parts on most rv's are fairly generic.
just my 2 cents worth

I don't know what parts would be part specific to Montana. The decals, wood trim, wheels, inner and outer doors, what else would you need?

I don't even have to go over to RV NET and I know exactly who Rich is referring to as do some of our other earlier MOC members. Seems he had a bad experience with his Montana years ago and has been bad mouthing the Montana line and Keystone ever since. The man has a real chip on his shoulder. When asked why after all these years he hasn't got rid of his so called piece of junk Montana he has no good legitimate answer. The shame of it is this man has a vast knowledge of RVing and 5th wheels in particular and contributed a significant amount of great information to this very forum. He just can't set aside his problems with Keystone and get on with life.

I am not shy about criticizing quality and workmanship issues on our Montana's although I know they are industry wide, However when I say a cabinet door fell off, or low a quality shower drain leaked I am being factual. When this guy says keystone told him there are NO parts at all available for a 2003 Montana.. on a open forum I can not let that go by and this was in reply to a poster asking for information that had nothing to do with this guys reply.I know there are many MOC members over there..don't let him get away with it.

Sorry Rich but I have wasted to much time arguing with him. You will never win nor will you ever shut him up. It's like talking to a stone wall.
Most of the regulars know him and tolerate him. I found the easiest way is to flat out ignore him. I wouldn't waste my time reading his posts muchless commenting on them. The man lives for the attention he can generate with his asinine posts and replies and if people would just ignore him he would either change his ways or move on.

The vast majority of his posts are very negative and he's always bad mouthing Keystone...he has his reputation to live down to, and he usually does.

Send a message via Yahoo to prariepoodle
If you all remember almost a year ago our Montana caught on fire, now it took a while to get them because of the holidays but KEYSTONE sent every Part that we needed and if it was not the same it was better. I cannot say enough about a company that stands behind the product that they make.

Sounds like he is more to be pitied than scorned. People with that big an axe to grind have issues outside the ones they talk about all the time.
