Are those body bags lying on the ground behind the sign?
It would give it good effect!!

I would find a different place to ride a bike or to hike.
I don’t think I would move to the side of the road either.
That's a good one!

Sorry, it wasn't my picture, but I have seen them like that at Kennedy Space Center, So I would guess the surrounding roads would also have them. I played golf in that area and had to walk around a big one that was sunning on the fairway. Personally, not a good thing.
p.s., hit a golf ball into the water hazard and you really think twice about looking for it. Nope! I just drop another ball, or go back and hit another one if the others playing with me insist.
p.p.s, and if the gators wrote the sign, well we have a bigger problems then.
p.p.p.s, I found this on a blog:
"Its not photoshopped... its from a bike trail in florida called Shark Valley. There is a tram that drives by every 10 minutes carrying tourists and bikers have to get to the side. Tho sometimes thats kinda hard when theres 6 foot gators on the side!"

Sailer, US-41 between Naples and Miami is full of them. This is a good road that goes right through the Everglades. There is a County Road, possibly CR-29, just west of Ochopee that runs north from 41 that they are abundant at, too. Right at the intersection of 41 and this county road is a US Park Service area with parking and boardwalks for observation. This is a more scenic route than I-75, Alligator Alley, just north of 41.

Another very nice campground in gator country is South Bay RV Campground. It's located at the southeast shore of Lake Okeechobee on US 27 (some traffic noise). We stayed there in 2004 when it was fairly new,I think it's a county or regional campground.Level concrete pads for your rig and nice landscaping throughout.Do take those gator warning signs seriously as we found out.Shallow canals run through the campground and out to the cane fields if I remember correctly... We saw lots of gators in the area. The canals through the cane fields were home to many huge gators!!!
