GPS Earthmate LT-20 (USB) 1.0 (Delorme)

Is anybody using the above? Mine works fine if I tape it to the roof of the truck but it doesn't work much at all if it is inside the vehicle.

Dave, I think you might have a bad receiver, I lay mine on the dash and it has always worked fine.

I used to use the Earthmate before I moved to S&T. It laid on the dash up near the windshield and did very well. Numerous times I was in places I expected to lose the signal but it only lost it a couple of times in several years. David, if you have a radio antenna built into the windshield or a heated windshield, I've heard those can interfere. But on your Ford I don't think you have those, do you? Congrats on the new truck! You need a new picture to include that truck!

Hi Dave Mine works just fine on the dash. No probs at all. Good to see you using "home town" products. Where are you? We are in Ga. heading for Gulf Breeze Fl. on monday. If we pass in the night this winter you can try mine. Dan
