We will be staying at our farm in Old Town Florida. Great place to go to and just RELAX (right). If I had more power outlets run from the power pole I would invite anyone that wants to come camp however we currently only have one power outlet (30 amp)(maybe we could have a get together in the fall for all the MOC members that want to try Old Town Florida on our place). We do have water and septic (dump station), fire ring, lots of fire wood, bathrooms and a kitchen (small cabin). My daughter, her new husband and their dog along with my wife, our youngest son, our dog and my brother and his family will all be living the good life up on the farm this coming holiday weekend.

We will be camping at Bixler Lake campground at Kendallville In. This is a city owned campground. We like camping here on the holiday weekends. Camping with our club. Weather forecast iffy. Oh well.

Sadly, nowhere, but graduation at my school was last night and my yearbook students and I went in this morning to finish up the supplement of spring activities that we add to the book.

Give me until June 6, however, and we will be headed for Unicoi SP for ten days!

Just got home today. Left on Thursday. Had a great time at Thousand Trails here in Clermont. Wish we were still there.

Just came in from a great weekend at Lake Rabun in the northeast Georgia mountains. The USDA Forest Service has a beautiful campground with water and electric on about half the sites. We had a few sprinkles here and there, but overall a wonderful weekend.

Got home last night from a great stay in Old Town Florida on my farm. Did pass a Montana on HWY 349 heading north on Monday. We waved but no one waved back. Did some work on the farm, cut some fields, smoked a Cuban cigar and had a great time with the kids, my wife, brother and his wife. The kids rode ATV's most of the weekend. My parents came up on Saturday, we had a big turkey dinner Saturday night and remember all our buddies, family members, my son and son-in-law still in the Armed Forces or who have departed this world while serving.

Yes, I am a Vet, so is my wife, my best friend is still serving in Iraq(Army Intel Col. 2nd tour this time 4th time overall), my son is in the Navy, my son-in-law and his twin brother are both in the Navy, another life long friend retires from the Coast Guard June 10th and many cousins and uncles all who served in Nam were talked about, remember and prayed for yesterday. DON'T EVER FORGET THOSE WHO GAVE UP SO MUCH SO THAT THE REST OF US REMAIN FREE.

Chestnut Lake, Port Republic, NJ. Down the Jersey Shore but a quiet part. Was a very nice and restful weekend. Also got to see and say goodbye to our youngest daughter who left for the NJ State Police Academy early this morning. We're proud.
