Went thru on 2 on the way to Alaska. There’s a about a two hundred mile stretch before you hit the first stop sign. Wonderful trip. Go, man. Go!

allstays works on your phone as does mine, Carl opened my eyes on this issue. when you go to their web site they no longer support android. means it will work you just wont get any updates. it was my go to RV app when things weren't as they should I just thought it was a glitch now I know why. was bummed last night when I found this out. if you go to the app store type in Allstays it will show Park advisor. I just went pro with that app it looks pretty good.

I have traveled US 2 many times. With the Montana and also riding the Harley. Fuel stops should not be a problem if you don't run your tank to empty before looking. There are RV parks along the route. Check out the USACE campgrounds on their web site. We are volunteers at Ft Peck. A very small town in Eastern MT. We are in a campground on Ft Peck Lake. We have some sites available with hookups and there are many free campgrounds without hookups but are right on Ft Peck Lake. Be sure to go see the USACE interpretive center. They have a T-Rex on display and also a lot of fossils of all kinds of Dino's. there is some road construction on Eastern US2 but nothing to be unduly concerned about.

From Allstays website
Android

Multiple things happened (map fee increase, a app ban/removal and censor of core data) that led to a departure from Android in late 2017. Full data is still on Apple and allstays.com as normal. The Android apps will keep running and anything that goes to the web (website links, images, reviews, etc) will still work and be updated. But major code updates, data adds and deletions will not happen. You can still reinstall on devices as below.

And if you try to "install on devices as below" it results in a huge fail.

I came across 2 heading west back in May. Parts of the road (9 miles) was all gravel, road construction, and it was slow driving. But other then that I liked the drive, and fuel stops wasn’t a problem. I stat at Minot N.D. And then at Glasgow Mt. at the Cottonwood Inn & suites. They have a RV Park behind the Inn.
And my next stop was Shelby Mt. before I cross into Canada heading to Alaska!
