2012 Montana 3455a Safe T Alert Gas Detector Malfunction
My Gas Detector has been going off lately. When I checked the Back of the detector said to replace after 60 months. Any Thought? Has anybody replace this Gas Detector? I don't smell any gas.

I had to replace ours in our 2012 3585SA about 6 months ago. Purchased from Amazon and installed myself. Very easy repair.

Replaced mine in my 2012 last fall, it was a SafeTalert model and the flashing LED tells you what the problem is. Flashing Red, Red Green Green is EOL (end of life) Mine also good for 5 years as well. Easy to replace but they are not cheap.

I have replaced all the detectors, the smoke detector being the most recent. Installed one that has a ten year battery and detector life.

Replaced ours twice on the last rig. Regardless of what they said, they basically lasted about 2 years.

Mine failed this year, easy to replace, just remove all power and cut the wires, then splice in the new one.

Thanks for the info on the blinking light sequence. It was spot on. I purchase the device from Amazon and saved a bunch of $$$.
