rain sensing ceiling vents

We have 2016030711fl with 3 power rain sensing ceiling vents. The seals came loose on two of them and they also occasionally would not open as if stuck. I glued the seals back on the sprayed a silicone lubricant around perimeter to try to prevent sticking. Now rain sensors do not work. We get wet. Any thoughts? Thanks

Probably got silicon spray on the sensor and now it cannot properly detect water on it. Try cleaning any over spray off the sensor.

That's good advice. Please keep us posted on your resolution.
