Phil, some of the neatest things I got as presents as a kid, were the things my dad brought me from the army surplus store. Those P-38's, signal mirror and a canteen were some of them.

Put the Spam Museum on your bucket list. It is in Minnesota. I think it will refreshen those older memories.

I still have a P-38. Only can opener I can count on. Does anyone remember canned bacon? Opened with a twist key. Didn't need to refrigerate until you opened it.
