Outdoor Shower

We've settled into our Summer retreat at the family farm in the mountains of Upstate NY and I've decided to built a stand-alone outdoor shower along with a utility sink for washing pots, pans, etc. as the RV kitchen sink is way too small. I was planning on using the outdoor shower water supply connection as my water source for both but don't want to have to control the water temperature with the hot/cold control handles in the convenience center. I want to be able to control the water temperature individually at both the shower and sink, respectively. I'm thinking of utilizing the hot/cold low point drain water lines in the convenience center and piping them to the hot/cold connection on the shower/sink. I'll leave the low point valves open and control flow and temperature at the shower/sink. Curious if anyone has done this and/or your thoughts on if it will work? Any concerns with leaving the low point drain valves open? Much thanks.

I'm not certain but am pretty sure that when the outdoor shower faucets are open that the inside faucets do not have water available. Low point drains could have the same effect so you might want to check that.

Low point drains just use angle stops, same thing that’s under a sink.
Can’t see anything wrong with this idea.
Not sure how opening a water valve would shut off supply to the rest of the camper.

Gents - sorry for the delay in responding but I've been busy. Thought I would follow up and let you know that my idea did indeed work...whew! While using the outdoor shower or sink does reduce indoor pressure it's not an issue for us as you just need to coordinate activities. I've attached a few pictures of the almost finished product.

Nice set up Wayne! Saves having to dump the gray tanks as often and the fresh air is always good for one too!

I tried to use the outdoor shower but people snickered and giggled then pointed until I just quit.
I was on a ship with people feeding the seagulls. Someone threw some wet bread that the seagulls didn’t catch. It hit me on the side of my head slid down over my ear on my shoulder. People were smiling then snickering then laughing out loud then rolling around on the deck laughing. I finally figured what they were laughing about. No need to get mad so I joined in the fun and laughed to. I didn’t roll around on the deck laughing though.
