Do nothing? All week? I don't think so!! It probably will take you all week to paint my external exhaust vent.

If I bring enough beer and my new replacement graphics....... Do you think we could get the old ones off and the new ones on in only a weeks time? Just a thought...... I'm not sure I could afford the beer!

See you all soon.

Hey Dennis,

If we can get the graphics off, there shouldn't be any problem lining them up, unless maybe, we drink to much of that free beer!

Sure is nice to know you are feeling better, and still have your sense of humor.....

BTW, did you know that there are only.........

57 days, 8 hours, 52 minutes, 36 seconds until the Quartzsite Rally!!

Robbie,

We'll have to monitor the beer very closely! On one of our "moves" we employed our friends and provided liquid refreshments......Well we left a trail of furniture for about 30 miles! Unfortunately Mary Kay was following a ways behind and kept seeing bits of furniture along the road..... That was some move!

If we actually do this it will be very interesting! Mary Kay says we're taking the graphics with us just in case. I'll start laying in the beer!

See you soon.

Dennis,
I have done many of our graphics and would be willing to help and I don't drink much beer. We need a heat gun, maybe one of those plastic squeegees they use for body putty, some cheap laquer thinner and lots of rags. It would really help if someone has a scaffold we can place on the steps of 2 stepladders for those long graphics

Charlie,

Thanks! I'll see about bringing a scaffold setup. I think my brother has something we can use. OK on the drinks.... perhaps I need something else for this sophisticated group!

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Travel safely and see you soon.

Dennis and Charlie,

Sorry folks, a bit off-topic, but there should probably be enough people with ladders that we could use as a scaffolding...just need a good board to put between them. We also might be able to stand on the rail of a pickup truck or two.....should be a couple of those around.

I have a 10.5' ladder.

I just hate to see you have to carry unnecessary stuff.

.....and to stay on-topic.......did you know????...and before someone asks..........

There are only 56 days, 12 hours, 47 minutes 21 seconds (CST) until the Quartzsite Rally!!

I have a ladder and would love to help. Just a little pay back from all the help I got putting on the graphics on our truck last spring at the Lake Siskiyou rally. Thanks again Dave for the graphics.

We have to do it when Jackies not looking as she won't let me get on one since I fell off and crushed my ankle and was off work for 6 months a few years ago.

We are looking forward to "Q" and all the great people.

Robbie,

Thanks for idea. I'll concentrate on a couple of boards to use between the ladders.

Thanks to all who are volunteering to help with graphics. Now if the weather will cooperate!

Later,

Dennis

Should I add this event to the agenda? Lets see, should we call it a beer drinking event while watching a group of people removing and installing graphics?

Dick, will Jackie let you hold the ladder?

Who would like to provide refreshments for the peanut gallery on the bleachers? Jo-Anna?.....probably going to take some more great pictures.....anyone else volunteering?....

We might get so good at this, we might want to join the chamber of commerce in Quartzsite.....let see, we need a name.

Curling Decal Busters?

Like Doug said, "Wow! It is time to start planning"........

Who has a heat-gun and is willing to bring it?

Jo-Anna,

You got it. I'll bring a bunch of boxes!

I hope you'll have your photos of your Alaska adventure with you(As long as they do not include any of Sarah Palin) . I'd love to see some or all of them.

Later,

Dennis

Jo-Anna,

OK. I misunderstood. But I'm sure there will be plenty of liquid refreshments. See you soon.

Dennis ; Your in luck!! Ive got this great propane tourch that we use for burning off grass and pine needles, It's a gazzillion BTU's and almost gauranteed to take off those ugly old decals!!! If we cut the fuel mixture to Half propane/half Scotch, I'm sure Dick and I can have those nasty decals off in a jiffy. the cleanup and new decals will be up to Carl and the local fire Dept. But this is going to be THE EVENT of the rally!!!!.....................DAVE

Good idea Dave, and maybe a little of that beer or wine could help the torch to spend things up LOL!

Naw! I don't wish any ill fate for anyone.....sounds like this will be a fun event....wish we could come just to watch.

Denise
