Reese fifth airborne vs morryde rubber pin box
I hve narrowed new pin box to these two. Please give opinion good or bad for both. Thanks

I've had the MorRyde OEM and decided to try the Fifth Airborne. I feel the Fifth Airborne works best for me. The MorRyde did a good job on chucking, but not so much on absorbing road shock. The Fifth AirBorne does an equally good job on chucking and you can see and feel it cushion bumps in the road which has to help with frame stress. Trail Air has a similar design which I'm sure works, but I wasn't a fan of a big shock and air puck staring me in the face on the front of my fiver.

I've had the Moryde on both our rigs, but if I was going to replace it I'd try the Airborne.

Installed Fifth Airborne after doing a lot of research. Trailair was nice but way more expensive. Didn't like exposed airbag & shock. Moryde is less than Airborne but doesn't have airbag. Very happy with Airborne. Virtually eliminated chucking and ride in truck much improved. Can hardly tell that you're towing.

I have the MorRyde on a 3160. It is light years better than my old "solid" hitch setup. It starts with a good hitch like the B&W, non slider. Thick locking jaws and no other moving parts that cause slop. It is about a solid connection to the truck as available. The the pin box is the other half. MorRyde smoothes out fore and aft chucking well. I don't feel like I need any more improvements with this combination. It is nearly maintenance free as well.
