Slideout Seals

Has anyone modified the slideout seals to improve the sealing of the slide to the wall when the slide is extended. In my HC 375FL I am having constant trouble with wiring cables for slide lights getting stuck in the thin flap seal which greatly leaks air.

In other coaches using different manufacture of slides in addition to the inside and outside wipers there are additional cushioned seals to positively seal the slide flanges to the walls?

Has anyone improved theirs?

Slideout wiring on my 2013 must be vastly different than your new high country. Mine enter near very outside bottom and have a rubber seal that covers the entry point and doesn't interfere with wall seals when slide is closed. John

My 2016 has a hokey spring assembly on both couch fronts in the front living room slide configuration. The spring seems like it is supposed to help the cable stay in position for retract and extend. No one so far has been able to adjust it to keep the cable from getting caught in the bottom slide seals. I am going to try your 303 suggestion to see if lubrication might help. I am tired of pushing the cable back behind the flap seal with a ruler from the outside.

Yeah, sounds like a major pain to me. Wonder how the design of your front living room differs from the montana fl designs and how they keep this from happening. I would pm bingo and ask him if he has cables underneath his couches. John
