re-plume of Washer drain

I have question to all out there I have a 3400rl and the drain for the clothes washer drains in to the black tank this is a real pain in the a#$. I,m all way having to make sure that the tank is open and then it is real clean. with the DW doing the wash ever other day this now starting to be a lot of work. I do not known why keystone did this if you have the miss fortune of over flowing your black tank you are going to have one big mess to clean up just ask the DW. so there has to be way to make this drain right out the TT if you did it can you post some pictures to kind of send me in the right way thanks

Keystone must have changed draining into the black tank after your year. I have a 2007 3400 and our washer drains directly into the drain line and not any tank.

i have a 2006 and it goes right in the black tank they used the black tank vent line luck there were a little smart and use a p-trap on the line so you do not get gas back up the drain

Ditto George on our 2007 3400. The washer drain was plumbed separately into the main discharge line. I would think a dealer could get you the exact plumbing parts you need by looking up replacement parts for a 2007 3400.

I would also check with your dealer to see if they could re-plume it for you.

Our washer drains into our grey tank for the bathroom. I was told when we bought this Montana that it drained into the main discharge line and not a tank. After doing our first couple of loads the drain over flowed into the trailer and we had a small flood in our hallway and bedroom. This confirmed that it did indeed drain into the grey tank for the bathroom. What a mess to clean up and dry out!!

Keystone did have a error around that time and some were plumed wrong. Some were put to the black tank and some to the gray.

Our 2013 drains the Washer into the gray tank, we always make sure to pull the gray tank drain handle in the convenience center before washing. Draining to the black tank is not a good thing.

Our 06 3400 build date of April 06 drained directly into the main discharge line. This 13 3402 also discharges directly into the discharge line although the service center when asked said it drained into the gray tank. It defiantly does not. My guess is there was and is confusion on the drain issue.Might not hurt to check it out for yourself if you are installing a W/D.
