Hydraulic Disc Brakes WORK
Today I had a short light. I stopped with the truck steering tires on the white line before the intersection. The ABS was chattering like heck. The trailer brakes did their job. I know with out a Military Doubt I would have been through the intersection with the standard trailer brakes. This is why I can tow more relaxed but still observant. I was on the light change as soon as it happened and I travel at the posted speed limit especially in town as well as on the road.

I agree with you totally, both on how to tow and on the disk brakes. We didn't get two miles from the plant when we had ours installed when a woman pulled right out in front of me and froze. I stood on the brakes and knew I would hit her, but stopped well short. Those brakes are worth the money.

Agreed, once you've had the Disc, you'll never go back to the drums that haven't changed in years and years.

Have had very similar experiences with ours.
Will never haul a heavy trailer without disk brakes.

What brand of disk brake kits are you using and where did you buy them. Thinking about upgrading the Monty.
