New 3585SA Arrived Today

Our new Montana 3585SA arrived at our dealer today and it sure looks great! Won't haul it off the lot until the 17th since we are having a 5th Airborne King Pin hitch put on it. Also, there was some damage to the lower right front corner molding and panel from a cardboard box that hit the right rear fender of the TV and then hit the rig yesterday as they were traveling north on I-95. I'll have a lot of time to do my PDIs prior to the 17th when we do the official PDI. Most importantly, the wife is thrilled with this floor plan and she will have plenty of room to do her yoga in the living area. Tomorrow I get the air bags put on the Chevy.
Carolyn and Wayne, we sure do thank you for your input concerning this model.

Thanks, Tim43! We are going to get reacquainted with our 3585SA this weekend because finally, finally, we are actually picking it up from Bish's and bringing it home. The last 2 months' delay was on our side; we've had 3 - 4 feet of snow on our property, with some unusually cold temperatures for this time of year (0 - 10 overnight), so our plan to bring the rig home last month went out the window. But, we're picking it up this Friday and will bring it home, although we've having to park it at a nearby RV park until the snow and mud dry up at our house. Unfortunately, more snow is forecast off and on through April 15th. I love winter and snow, but enough is enough already! We're ready to take the Monty our for some weekend trips.

Keep us posted on your "picking up the Montana" progress.

Good choice :-). The DW loves the rear kitchen and full bathroom. My only wish would have been a proper desk but I guess every floorplan has it's compromises. Many happy and safe trips.

It seems even with the pull down desk in the rig we are trading, I always set my lap top up on the table and it will be no different in the new Monty. Sure looking forward to pulling it off the dealer's lot a week from tomorrow after the damage gets repaired and the Fifth Airborne hitch gets put on. Tim
