Haunted Montana

Not sure where to put this, but it is driving me crazy---a short trip. Almost always towards the end of my shower or shortly thereafter, I hear a squeeking, grating sound like a rusty hinge opening which lasts for a few seconds. Thought it was something my wife was doing outside and thought I could apply some oil or make an adjustment---only it is not her---she seems to never hear it, either. Often we´re the only folks in the area, so it it not any neighbors. Can´t find any current leaks or rub areas, but have taken off the tub access panel. Is anyone else haunted or have an explaination?

Yours in the spirit world,

I don't know what your ghost is but we have one too. Everytime I take a shower I smell something burning. Ed never smells it (yes he takes showers) and we checked and checked.

Take courage, you two, there is fairly good treatment for audio and olfactory hallucinations. Maybe a little talk therapy could get you to the root causes. It probably relates to some related trauma in your youth. Sorry, couldn't resist, which probably relates to something in my youth.

Thanks Stiles. Can't remember my youth all that well.

Parrothead, the knob on the left is for hot water. Turn that one down a little. The one on the right is for cold water. Turn that one up just a little. Might help relieve that burning sensation. Sorry, Stiles inability to resist must be catching.

Mobilrvn, sorry but I have no idea what that noise is.

The noise could be the holding tank filling. Check the holding tank supports. Turn on the shower and get underneath with the covers off. Can't think of anything else.
