Place to camp on EAST side of GNP

Anyone out there aware of good place for our 35 ft 3160RL? We just got back from there but we’re too busy hiking around to scout for places. I know most NP are not conducive for bigger units but surely there is a few. I see the $90 a night KOA near St Mary but is there an alternative?
Same question for near Yellowstone. These have become our two favorite places on earth and plan on going back every year.
Any help is appreciated!

My favorite place is StMarrys CC. It’s on the going to the sun road and within seeing distance of the KOA and very important to me in the park. GNP is remote and there isn’t a lot of choices.

Good deal. I’m not real comfortable in tight spaces yet, but I’m learning. Tree branches seem to be my biggest enemy. Ha
Thanks for replying

That is what we are here for.
Enjoy GNP. I hope you aren’t going now. I think the Going To The Sun Road I’d closed for the season or soon will be.

Actually just got home from there yesterday. Great trip because of the east side.
Sun road closed a month ago from fire trucks needing it. Still had great time

The place I like to stay in Yellowstone is the Madison CC. It’s in the center of the park on the Madison River. In the fall there should be a big bull elk with his cows about every 300 yards. It’s one of the best places in the park to fly fish and if you don’t a great place to walk in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Grizzly is a beautiful CC. Nice staff, well kept, clean. Just like a little town and that’s the problem for me, I’m a country boy.

We just left there last Friday 9/7 and they started running the shuttle busses from the West side that day but with no stops until Logan Pass. Hopefully they are opening it up more by now.there are more campgrounds on the West side, we stayed at San Sus Ed it's a nice campground but right off the highway.
