Installed one this winter. Biggest difficulty, getting in the rig and in the closet. A strong buddy solves that problem. Had to remove the inside stair rail temporarily , no big deal. I recommend a drain pan. Do not believe the vent decal on the closet wall, ours was way off. Before you move the washer in, check water and drain lines so you know. Start your vent cut on the inside, finish from the outside. Install very basic and easy. Couple of choices available for outside vent. Buy the bolt down clamps, they lock down the washer tight to the floor.

Thanks for the replies! Considering allowing CW to do the install as they're running a special until 3/17, installation of essentially anything for only $59! It's tempting but I want to insure that it's done correctly the first time.

Just make the instructions are clear and are documented in the paper work. They did not put in the drain line I requested and had to reinstall. other that that they did right by us.

Jeff, Please elaborate. Did you have a drain pan installed (I plan to) and they didn't run a drain line or? Thanks

Do the hold down clamps only go on the front legs?

The Splendide installation instructions, which can be found on their website, only mention installation of the clamps on the front leveling legs. In the tight quarters of an RV I think that it would be near impossible to install on the rear - IMHO

We have a Haier and have had it for one season. So far so good. It does take a while as a ventless dryer. I do wish I had gotten a vented dryer.

Having the Splendide 2100XC Combo unit installed at CW with a drain pan (taking advantage of the $59 install special). Asked that they run the drain line down through the floor, and out through the curb-side LP tank compartment underneath. CW called this afternoon stating they can't do that, and, they have to run the drain out through the cut-out in the nose where the 5th wheel hitch is located. Going to see them in the morning to discuss but curious if others have the same drain point? The LP compartment seemed like a sensible vertical drop point but...?

W/D hookup in mine is the same. Drain pan out through curbside LP tank compartment.

Hmmm, seems like a logical exit point and that's why I pointed them in that direction but I'll see what they have to say ion the morning. Thanks Jeff

Exactly. Front leg clamps are all you need.
