Rv parks in Palm Springs, CA

Does anyone know of any good resonable priced rv parks in or around Palm Springs? My husband will be working there for 8 months so looking for something that doesn't cost a fortune but is still nice. We are in our early 50's but not 55 yet.

Oasis Palms in Thermal, down by the Salton Sea is a nice clean park and with Passport America, it was only $111 for a week. It did not have cable TV but had internet. It is about 20 + miles from the Palm Springs area. The parks in the immediate Palm Springs area were pretty pricey when we were down there in January.

Not really sure what you mean as reasonably priced but how about north of I-10 in the Desert Hot Springs area? I recall there were a few (some of the areas might have concerns but the RV Parks themselves are separate from the neighborhood and generally safer). Back when they were not as expensive as the Palm Springs side. I seem to recall between $35 and $50 per night and offerings of discounts by the week and by the month. We have stayed in a couple in that area and driven into Palm Springs quite easily.

We now stay in the 1000 Trails - Palm Springs RV Park when we're in that area because we are members. It's an older park and the sites are tight because it was built when rigs were smaller but it suits us (I don't think there's 50 amp, for example). The drawback is it's a membership park, but some 1000 Trails parks are open to the public.

Word of caution. Availability might be tight because it's popular with Snow birders.

The Oasis in Cathedral City is competitively priced, have friends there, we are at Outdoor Resort same city, it is very nice but spendy.

Not sure of your price range, but we stayed in Desert Hot Springs for $640/month at the Sands. Nice place, plus activities.
