microwave venting

Our 2006 monty has an Apollo Half Time Oven. When in microwave mode only, for example baking potatos, the moisture builds up inside the microwave. Steam condenses all inside and we have to wipe it up. It does not seem to vent into the kitchen or outside via the hood over the stove top.

Is this normal operation for the microwave?

We noticed that too, I don't like it much.

You are correct and the same thing happens in the microwave in our stick home.

I think the potatoes are the culprit, guys. They're all water and starch.

I called Lynn about that problem. She said to use the air dry button. Said they were so tight that that caused the problem. Will have to see.

I agree, the Appolo does not vent moisture very well. We always end up using the Autodry mode after about every use. When we do bacon in the Appolo, water sometimes seeps out the bottom of the door seal and lands on the pancake griddle below on the stove. My previous 3 RV's microwaves vented the moisture into the air .. you could feel it while it was microwaving (if that's a word). I've checked the fan's operation on the back of the Appolo and asked around for answers ... there seems to be none ... this is just the personality of the Appolo I guess.

Thanks everybody. I forgot about the auto dry feature. If not a solution, it will certainly mitigate the problem!
