3400RL Maiden Voyage
We finally set sail last Thursday and spent 5 days at Copalis Beach on the Ocean. We were with friends(20 of us) for the holiday. We were the envy of the bunch. They called us the Taj Mahal... Most of the time there it was rainy and windy, so we enjoyed our view of the ocean while sitting in front of the fireplace. This isn't camping, it is living!!!! We had no major problems and have already moved things around. We changed the hide a bed and recliners. It is easier to see the view with the chairs in the slide out. Also removed the curtains and bedspread in the bedroom. Replaced them with lace valances and a quilt. The accent pillows hide the headboard when the bed is made. It makes the bedroom look much brighter. No problems pulling it and we had some narrow, winding two lane roads. I think it will be great for full timing (13 months to go). Our biggest problem is getting in and out of gas stations. We are working on locating Truck stops on the usual routes we take.
We thank all of you for all of your advice and it helped our PDI go much smoother. We are looking forward to a great summer.
