Tires
OK, Finally lost 2 of those wonderful mission tires while coming back from Florida and I have replaced them with some Transforce HT BL LT235/85R16 E120R. I have seen others on here that are also running these and would like to know what the recommended air pressure should be and also the torqing of the lug nuts.

The max tire pressure when cold should be 80#. The wheels should be torqued to 120 ft/lbs.

Have you been pleased with them? I have not had a chance to go any where with them on the trailer yet.

Rex-- Did you only put two of the Transforce HT's on your Monte? If you are running two of the Tranforce and two of the Missions I'd be putting two more Transforce on! Those Missions are just ticking away and will cause some real damage if not replaced IMHO!

Our resident tire expert, LonnieB, lists the TransForce as one of the brands he thinks are among the good choices based on his professional tire experience.

I have had the Transforce on our Monte for 5 years now. Debating on whether to change them this year. No signs of cracking or stress. Been great tires, no problems. Might try to get one more year out of them. Manufacture date was in 2005. Any thoughts?
