Chuck and Suzanne, I think they like it because we sleep there. We keep all 3 kittys downstairs in the living room at night. The Sparkster goes into his pet carrier at night. We get it out, set it down on the carpet, he crawls in, and we shut the door. Odd cat. If we let him out at night he would be pounding on the sliding bedroom door.

ADAPT!!! are you kidding? We cannot sneak out of the house without the two "kids" trying to jump in the truck. When the 5er is hooked up to the truck they hang around waiting. And the smallest opportunity will jump in the back seat and settle in. They have sat there a half day waiting to leave.

Took my old cat to Ruidoso NM with me last May. The first 60 miles she screamed and howled and really carried on. It didn't get much better the rest of the week. Long story short, she and I decided that that was tooooo stressfull for both of us- she doesn't go any more.

Some of you may have met our little poodle Eli. He is a rescue. He has adapted really well to travel and camping.
When we start carrying things to the camper he get nervous and wants to stand by the truck. He rides on a pillow on Thelma's lap and leg. Just lays there and waits till we get there or for the next Mickey Dee's. He likes his own hamburger. No bun please.

Packing Tana up for any trip is painful for our yorks. When we have to pack up for Texas, which is a re-pack, and takes 2 to 3 days, they get so upset I have to give them tagamet for their tummies. Helps some if I take them out to Tana with me while I try to remember where I had this and that.

They sure love to go.

We have to watch for lumps in Tana, our Tilly will totally disappear under pillows, blankets, coats, she is not particular, if she can burrow under it, she will!

Ozz that is a pretty kitty!

Our dogs like to go with us. Ninokat does too. They all ride in the truck. Nino on the truck consol. Nino will walk from the truck to the trailer by leash. He doesn't lead well any other place unless from the trailer to the truck.
Of course they all three wear seat belt harnesses while riding. Nino wears a dog harness because he is too big for a cat harness.

The three let us sleep on "their bed" in the trailer!!!
