OOPS! Photo Added
I was mowing yesterday with my tractor and caught the roll bar on the end of the camper. Sounded a lot worse than it looks but it will still need to be repaired. I put about a 3” mar/gash in the fiberglass front cap just under the part that rolls underneath. It doesn’t look like it went through but still, no fun with that.
Here's a photo the other part with black lines in the area is just simply dirty. It needs a good washing, any volunteers?

I would check with a fiberglass boat repair shop for suggestions or repair.

My wife did the same thing a couple of years ago. Just left a good size black scratch under there.

For some reason it’s difficult to remember the roll bar being where it is. Since it’s behind the driver I guess the old saying stands true “out of sight, out of mind.” Quite an expensive way to learn a lesson!

A power buffer, some gel coat repair and hand sanding and it will be as good as new. That small of an area should not be too hard to tackle. If you decide to undertake the repair and you succeed, I have several very large areas on the boat that need attention as well!! (kidding!). Seriously, look up gel coat repair kits and wet sanding procedures and you will see how easy it is. The repairs I need on the boat require fiberglass fillers, gelcoat applied with preval sprayers, and a lot of sanding. I hope to start them sometime this summer!

Sorry you had the problem, but most of us have a similar story. Easy to do.
