Yes I do remember when Walmart said, everything they sold was made in America. When the original owner was in charge they did sell mostly American made products.
We also try to buy American made.

All kidding aside, I try to buy as much as possible made in America, its just the right thing to do!!!

I buy as much as I can that is made in America. As an electrical contractor, I can attest to the poorer quality of the materials that I have to get fron elsewhere.

we did some jobs that we had to buy everything made in america as Jim said the quality is better here but its harder to find some things so alot of folks will just buy from some where else because its easy. we need to look harder at using things made here. JMHO

I can't believe that. I'm going to Walmart this weekend and will look for items made in the USA. I'll bet I can find more than one!

A friend,s father who owned Gibson's Department Stores, had Sam Walton ask him for a job. He didn't hire Walton. I think he said young Sam wasn't qualified. Did you ever hear of Gibson's Department Stores? Didn't think so, but they were big and extended from Texas through the south. I wonder what would have happened if Mr Gibson would have hired San Walton.
