Wood blocks' handles

I made it a little easier to grab the wood blocks we use in setting up. Don't have the chairs anymore, so I cut up the straps that were used to hold down the chairs.
Fold the end for better support, use a washer and a screw.

Ah! American ingenuity.

My set up was a little different. I have the same type of blocks. I put an eye-bolt in the end of each one. I took a good grade 1/2" rope, threaded it through the eye-bolt, and weaved it into itself. I used that same piece of rope (other end) for the other block. The rope acts as a handle when carrying and both chocks are used one under the front of the tire, and one under the back of the tire. I made two of this, four blocks total, and saved my chairs.

What a great idea. And I just happened to have some wood recently cut for that purpose and had a couple of old chair straps - so I copied your idea! Thanks for sharing.

Jim, I screwed 3 2x10x12's together and then attached a cabinet pull handle on the end. I've used these for several years without problem.

Except for when they freeze to the concrete pad in sub-freezing weather!
