roll up sun screen for back window

Has anybody had a roll up sun screen added to the back window on a 3400rl . Camping world sells them. Yo make long story short we had a 3295rk in for repairs and they could not find the problem without a lot of more expense. Already spent $900 for new hyd pump and motor still had same problems. Found a good used 05 3400rl so we traded. Now waiting to pick it up. Talked to the owner of the rig and said he had no problems with it. Now trying to add a few things to it.

We got a sunshade through www.RVToyStore.com ...it uses velcro or snaps (we used white velcro) We were thinking about the roller shade but didnt want to drill into the back and this was so much cheaper ..around $74.00 shipped where the roller was around $350.-$400.

Check out the sunscreen from Carefree of Colorado. I have one on the back of my coach.

I too have a Carefree of Colorado roll-up sunscreen on the rear window of my fiver. Works great keeping out the heat and I really like the roll-up feature. Also with about any sunscreen, you have the abilty to see out, but not see back in except during the night time hours. No offense to anyone and this is just my personal preference but ... although the velcro is functional and inexpensive, I'm just not a big fan of several pieces of velcro framing the rear windows when not using the sunscreen. Depending on ones skills, it's a piece of cake to install a roll-up. All you need is a ladder, drill and bit, pop rivet gun, tape measure, tube of silicone, and a helping hand. Center the awning, drill the holes, fill them with silicone, put just a thin layer of silicone on the back side of the brackets, rivet them on. No worries about a water leak this way.
