On our first trip with our 2002(2955)the power cord pulled out of the connector exposing the conductors not a safe condition.When I took to the dealer for repair he made a comment they are all coming in like this the repair lasted for a week, I than fixed by shorting the conductor so the clamp on the plug would contact the jacket and with some heat shrink tubing the repair worked well but it was not sealed from the elements.
Last week after some searching I found a web site of a company that sells Marinco molded on both ends, strain relief and a locking nut that mates with the Marinco inlet. This is truly a marine construction and should have come with our units.
