Towing with Bubba

Washed, waxed, and driving the combo for the first time. Mailbox is still standing.

Looking great Joe, have fun on your maiden voyage. Thinking this may be my next move also!

Just makes you grin the whole time. Miles of smiles! Exactly what I wanted to do, but got a 3500 instead.

That is one great looking rig! But I don't remember being in too many places where they had sites for something that long. Or easy manuevering thru the park. Guessing you have to do some advance planning on where you are going to be spending the night, huh?

Nice looking truck. Craft-Guy needs to understand that that rig won't fit in a small picture.

Bill,
No problem getting around. The turning radius is excellent in these vehicles. My street is only 32' wide and I was able to back in my driveway (90 degrees to street) with no problem. If fact, it took the same effort as when I had my Dodge. Yes, some campgrounds will be difficult (Army Corps, State, and National Parks), but there are always parks that can take us. It is a little longer than my Dodge, same width, only higher. Plus, air ride seats, air ride cab, plenty of room, and 300 gallons of fuel....Nice.

What is Bubbas fuel mileage when towing and empty? I drive a semi for work and it seems they don't get much better mileage when bobtailing or pulling, some but not much. How is it for getting around without the 5ver hooked up?

Have you thought about adding graphics to the truck to make it match the trailer?

Really nice rig. No worries about "not enough power or overweight". It probably turns better then my 2007 extended cab truck. Better viewing of road, more comfortable and SAFER. Enjoy!

And don't forget to add the types of graphics as the Monty so they peel the same too.

Just kidding, but I hope you opt for painted on, rather than peel-n-flake graphics.
