cam lock on a&e awning

the cam lock stopped working on my a&e awning. Has anyone ever done a repair on a cam lock ? just wondering if it can be repaired .

Tom I dont see why it cant be fixed right at the campground, we had a company named Shade Pro 1 800 328 5100 they install care free of colorado, dometic, and a bunch of others they come right to your campspot and do what ever you ask them to. these people might have a recomendation for you also.
I do know to fix that cam the end of the tube has to come off and there is a big spring that has to be unloaded first.

Watch out Tom. There is a lot of force on that spring and it can take a finger or do some hurt.

We had a similar problem on another trailer and I sprayed some silicone in on the mechanism and it worked with out sticking for a long time. You may or may not have the exact same problem but it worked for me.
