replacing shock aabsorbers

Has anyone replaced their suspension shock absorbers? Our 2003 2955RL came with a made in china shock. Which brand and number did you replace with?

Not sure if that is a stock install??? Maybe. There will be experts by here shortly that can address suspension much better than I.

Don't know if the shocks are factory or aftermarket although the trailer was bought new in Tacoma WA. After some research found that Dexter Axle sells a complete retrofit kit with shocks and mount hardware that seems to be identical to what is on the trl. Monroe sells a shock identical to the Chinese one a Monroe RV GasMagnum Monroe part # 555001.Information available on Dexter and Monroe websites. Axles on trl are AL-KO.
